Also starting Friday and running through Sunday is Need Supply Co.’s first ever Warehouse Sale. There will be major discounts up to 75 percent off on men’s and women’s shoes, apparel and accessories. I heard some insider scoop that there’ll be a ton of high-end brands and crazy markdowns, so it certainly sounds worth checking out early.
On Monday and Tuesday, Roan is hosting a Lela Rose trunk show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is your opportunity to shop this dress designer’s collection long before it hits stores. Appointments are preferred but not required — call 288-3699 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a time.
Also next week, Frillseekers in The Shops at 5807 is hosting a SCOUT launch party. Stop in and shop any day during regular business hours, browse the new spring stuff, and get a free gift with any SCOUT purchase (while supplies last). Also, you can enter to win a SCOUT Gameday Tote.
I’ve got four style-related events going on for you during the second half of the week. First up, starting Wednesday and running through Saturday, Levys is hosting a Marisa Baratelli trunk show. These made-to-order Thai silk special occasion garments are perfect for mothers of the bride, cocktail parties and other spring events. There’ll be a large selection of samples to try on so you can place the perfect order for your spring event.
This Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., Eurotrash is hosting a trunk show from Marimekko, a Finland-based brand that features lots of bright prints and clever styling. There’ll be samples on hand for the entire evening, so you can order your favorites, as well as a fashion show at 7 p.m. Plus, you can sip bubbly and snack on light bites while you shop.
Also on Thursday, La Brezza is hosting an opening party from 5 to 7 p.m. This walk-ins-welcome blow-dry bar from the folks at La Bella Hair Studio allows you to have a stylist wash your hair, dry it and arrange it in one of four different styles, ranging from straight to lightly curly, for $35. The party will include sparkling wine and snacks, and every guest will receive a coupon for $10 off her first La Brezza visit. Plus, the first 50 people through the door will receive a free travel product from UNITE.
On Friday, 250 Sports Grill in Oilville is hosting a Beach Body Prep Party from 7 to 11 p.m. There’ll be new makeup looks from Smashbox and lotions to try from Palm Beach Tan, plus the owners of Local Barre will be there to tell you about shaping up for summer.
Yes, you’ve always been able to stop in and shop at Ledbury, but they’ve decided it’s time to amp up the retail experience. If you stop in, there’s now a new retail space with a dedicated shop staff reporting to shop manager Audie McDougall and regular store hours along with personal shopping appointments.
To show off the new digs, the company is hosting a party this evening (Friday) until 10 p.m. and you’re invited. There’ll be brews from Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, snacks from Rappahannock Restaurant and funk and soul tunes from Steady Sounds.
After the party, the shop will start regular hours on Saturday (it’ll be open from noon to 5 p.m.). There’ll also be regular happy-hour events starting in April.
